Job Description
\nInsight Analytics Group, a fast-growing data analytics firm serving clients in retail, logistics, and technology, is seeking a talented Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our Chicago team. This role is ideal for international students on OPT or CPT who are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. As a Data Analyst, you\u2019ll work on real-world projects, gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, data-driven environment.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\nCollect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools like Python, R, or SQL to identify trends and patterns.
\nCreate interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders.
\nCollaborate with business teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision-making.
\nAssist in developing predictive models and statistical analyses to optimize business processes.
\nDocument data analysis processes and findings for internal and client use.
\nStay updated on industry trends and emerging analytics tools to enhance team capabilities.
\nRequirements
\nBachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree (in progress or completed) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
\nProficiency in at least one analytical tool\/language (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
\nExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or willingness to learn.
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
\nValid F-1 visa with OPT or CPT authorization.
\nAbility to work at least 20 hours\/week (OPT) or as approved by DSO for CPT.
\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.
\nPreferred Qualifications
\nCoursework or projects in machine learning, statistical modeling, or data mining.
\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) or big data tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
