About the Role
\nYou will be a key part of CommBank\u2019s Cyber Threat Intelligence & Detection team, proactively monitoring and responding to advanced threats, enhancing security frameworks, and supporting national cyber resilience.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities
\nIdentify and assess emerging cyber threats, malware, and attack vectors<\/p>\n
Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis<\/p>\n
Develop actionable intelligence and share insights with SOC & response teams<\/p>\n
Collaborate with government and private threat-sharing platforms<\/p>\n
Support threat hunting, incident response, and threat detection improvement<\/p>\n
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to strategic cyber planning<\/p>\n
Ideal Candidate Profile
\n5+ years\u2019 experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or SOC roles<\/p>\n
Proficient with tools like Splunk, CrowdStrike, MITRE ATT&CK, and SIEMs<\/p>\n
Knowledge of APT tactics, ransomware threats, and cybercrime landscape<\/p>\n
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills<\/p>\n
Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience<\/p>\n
Eligible for or interested in Australia\u2019s Priority Migration Visa (PMSOL)<\/p>\n
