You\u2019ll work within the Advanced Battery Technology division, focusing on the design, development, testing, and integration of cutting-edge lithium-ion battery systems used in the next wave of Mercedes electric vehicles.<\/p>\n
Develop and optimize EV battery modules, packs, and thermal management systems<\/p>\n
Support BMS (Battery Management System) integration and performance analysis<\/p>\n
Conduct simulations and durability testing under European compliance standards<\/p>\n
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and manufacturing<\/p>\n
Contribute to lifecycle sustainability, recyclability, and safety innovations<\/p>\n
Document research, file technical reports, and present findings internally and externally<\/p>\n
Ideal Candidate
Degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics<\/p>\n
3\u20135+ years of experience in EV battery systems or related automotive domains<\/p>\n
Proficient in CAD tools ( E.g., CATIA, Siemens NX ), MATLAB \/ Simulink, and CAN tools<\/p>\n
Familiar with ISO 26262, UN ECE R100, and other automotive safety standards<\/p>\n
Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)<\/p>\n
Eligible for or seeking EU Blue Card sponsorship for Germany<\/p>\n
Salary: \u20ac75,000 \u2013 \u20ac95,000 based on experience + relocation support<\/p>\n
