Job Description
Horizon Tech Solutions, a leading IT services provider specializing in innovative software solutions, is seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This role is designed for international students on OPT or CPT, offering hands-on experience in software development and opportunities for career growth in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using Java, Python, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Spring, Django, React).
Collaborate with senior developers and product managers to design and implement new features.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.
Participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
Contribute to database design and optimization using SQL or NoSQL databases.

Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (in progress or completed) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
Basic understanding of web development frameworks and tools (e.g., Spring, React, Node.js).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Valid F-1 visa with OPT or CPT authorization.
Ability to work at least 20 hours/week (OPT) or as approved by DSO for CPT.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Jenkins).
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Prior internship or project experience in software development.
