NRI-kitchen-tested Diwali sweet recipes for November 8, 2026. Last verified August 31, 2026.
Sweets are the heart of Diwali. Preparation begins a week before the main day, with kids often involved in the assembly. For NRI families in the USA, sourcing ingredients matters as much as the recipe — this guide includes both. Ten Diwali sweets, ranked from easiest to most involved.
